Jonathan Hendrickson
Elder
Jonathan has attended Second City since moving to Harrisburg, and in 2010, he and his wife, Nicole, were married in Second City. Jonathan loves worshiping God at Second City Church, and he feels deeply fortunate to be part of the Second City Session (the governing body of elders), which he joined in 2018. Jonathan holds a bachelor's degree from Penn State University and a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently works in state government and he loves spending time with his wife and two kids. Together they enjoy all that the city of Harrisburg has to offer: running, biking, kayaking, praying throughout the city, and visiting historic sites of all kinds.
Second City Church is a Presbyterian Church, which describes how we govern ourselves. The pastor is a ‘Teaching Elder.” He is aided and held accountable in ministry by “Ruling Elders” who are elected by the congregation.
