Dave Tanis
Elder
Dave has been a member of the church since 1997 and first served as an elder in 2013. He and his wife live in Dillsburg and have three children that grew up at Second City Church. Dave works in the field of adventure education and enjoys leading adventure activities for the church like our annual canoe trip on the Susquehanna River.
Second City Church is a Presbyterian Church, which describes how we govern ourselves. The pastor is a ‘Teaching Elder.” He is aided and held accountable in ministry by “Ruling Elders” who are elected by the congregation.
