Community Groups

There is no such thing as a private Christian. Our friendship with God begins and continues to grow in our friendships with other Christians. The community groups of Second City Church that meet all around Harrisburg are places where these friendships can be formed. For times and location details please contact us.

In the City

Midtown @ Linden Terrace

Jed Slaboda leads this Bible study that meets at the Linden Terrace Apartments Tuesday afternoons at 1:00. Anyone is invited to join.

Midtown @ the Slaboda Home

The Rileys lead this group that meets Tuesday evenings at 7:30 the Slaboda home.

Uptown @ the Zubrod Home

The Zubrods lead and host this group that meets Wednesday evenings at 7:30.

East Harrisburg @ the Foose Home

The Fooses lead and host this group that meets Thursday evenings at 7:30.

Further Out

Mechanicsburg @ the Prescott Home

Ted and Cathy Prescott  host this group at their home on Monday evenings at 7:30. This Fall they are studying the book of Genesis together.

West Shore House Church

The Perrins invite you to a time of worship and fellowship twice a month at the Stein home in Camp Hill.

Second City Film Watchers meet monthly for cinema and discussion. Information about films, locations and showtimes are announced here and included in our weekly e-letter.

Ladies Night Out

On the fourth Saturday night of every month women from Second City Church get together in different homes or venues for a variety of activities including Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and creativity.

Women’s Morning Prayer

Women of Second City Church are invited to a time of morning prayer every Thursday from 6:30 – 7:15  at the Vander Ark home in Camp Hill. We’ll pray through Scripture passages and lift up the needs of our church, its leaders and all its friends and members.
